Pearl (AL) is a female German Shorthaired Pointer mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Pearl is 1.5 years old at the time of intake in December 2021. Pearl is good with people and other dogs.  This beautiful girl had a home and a family until her parents got divorced and she got lost in the shuffle.  Bewildered and lost, Pearl needs a new forever family, and this time we promised Pearl that forever means forever and she will never be left behind again.  Pearl is sweet and, consistent with her working dog breed, has a lot of energy.  If you are looking for a hiking partner, or a companion for your active (including the dog!) family, please apply online to adopt Pearl (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
