Goober (NC) is a neutered male Pit Bull Terrier mix rescued in North Carolina. Our veterinary partner estimates that Goober is 12 weeks old at the time of intake in late December 2021. Goober is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Goober and his siblings were stuck in a kill shelter at risk of contracting a fatal virus.  Fortunately, someone alerted us to Goober's plight, so we immediately pulled Goober and his siblings out of there and now this little Goober is available to light up YOUR life!  Goober is such a snuggle bug. He enjoys playing outside with his doggy siblings. He is house trained, sits for treats and sleeps though the night. Goober has mastered the 5 deck stairs in his foster home, but he is working on conquering the 12 steps inside. Goober is learning not to jump on people, but he does respond well to the “off” command. He will do amazing in a home with or without other dogs. Goober has the run of his foster home and he has not shown any inappropriate chewing.
