Andy (AL) is a male possibly Chihuahua/Spaniel mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Andy is 10 days old at the time of intake in late December 2021.  Andy is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Andy, his Momma and his siblings were dropped off at a kill shelter by their owner when Andy was just 10 days old. A kill shelter is a dangerous place for tiny puppies, so before Andy could contract a fatal virus in the shelter, we scooped him out (don't worry, we rescued the whole family!) and he is now safe in our rescue.  Andy needs to stay with his Momma for a while longer, but we would like to have his forever family waiting to greet him with open arms as soon as he's old enough to move on.  If you would like Andy to grow up with your last name, please apply online to adopt Andy (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
