Papi (NJ) is a male Shepherd mix rescued in New Jersey. Our veterinary partner estimates that Papi is 8 weeks old at the time of intake in April 2022.  Papi is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  Papi likely had a home for a very brief period of time until his owner discovered that Papi was suffering from a very serious medical condition.  Rather than get Papi the lifesaving medical care he required, his owner tossed him in a dumpster and left him there to die.  But fate intervened, Papi was found, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC stepped in, and now Papi has received the veterinary care that saved his life.  Papi is adorable, sweet and friendly.
