Nathan (GA) is a neutered male Boxer mix rescued in Georgia. Our veterinary partner estimates that Nathan is 2 years old at the time of intake in May 2022.  Nathan is good with people and other dogs.  This very sweet boy's adorable face masks the cruelty Nathan has suffered in his life; that is, until you see the gunshot wound on his lower jaw.  Unbelievably, some monster shot this boy in the face at close range, fracturing his mandible.  Fortunately, our veterinary partner indicates that Nathan's jaw is healing and will not require surgery. Nathan is safe now with us, and he will never know anything but a loving, safe, happy life from this point on.  Nathan is friendly and great with other dogs.  He is very much a busy boy with typical Boxer energy. He sometimes expends that energy by chasing his tail. Nathan would do best in an active home with a fenced yard where he can run, play and exercise. He is treat motivated, which is good as Nathan needs some work on his manners.
