Akiro (TX) is a male Catahoula Leopard mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Akiro is 1 years old at the time of intake in Oct 2022.  Akiro is good with people and other dogs.  This gorgeous boy has found himself homeless and in a shelter.  He has beautiful coloring, merle grey and black.  Just imagine walking this stunning boy around town, you'll be the envy of everyone.  And he'll be forever grateful and promises to be loyal and your best friend.  He's thriving in his foster home, h e's house and crate trained and good on a leash. He's gentle, affectionate, and mellow. Akiro is really a very sweet boy.  He is a relatively laid back dog, who tends to only get excited when playing with his dog brother. He's met a few kids and is gentle with them. He loves being outside just soaking up the sun. Often he sits in the yard with his nose up in the air just taking it all in. He is smart, learning some commands (sit, stay, wait).
