Gator (TX) is a male thought to be Black Mouth Cur/shepherd mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Gator is 8 weeks old at the time of intake in Jan 2023, we think Gator will be med-large when full grown.  Gator is good with people and other dogs.  Gator was born homeless with his brothers and sisters and an amazing mom who did everything she could to keep them fed and safe.  Don't let his name fool you, he is nothing like a gator in fact he is super sweet.  Just look at the face!  Isn't that a face you'd like to see every morning when you wake up?  Gator is a dapper chap who would prance around on walks and be the envy of everyone he meets.  He loves to play, give kisses and nap.  Have you ever seen spotted paws with reverse brindle? He’s a fearless cuddler who loves to get scooped up and kissed all over his sweet face.   Can you give Gator the life he so very much deserves?  Please apply online to adopt Gator (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
