Bear1 (TX) is a male Shih Tzu mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Bear is 2 years old at the time of intake Jan 2023.  Bear is good with people and other dogs.  Bear is the cutest young man looking for the family he was supposed to be with.  He was abandoned by the very people who were supposed to take care of him but unfortunately they could not even provide basic grooming.  He's with us now, had a great spa day and is ready to find his family.  He would love a family who will shower him with love and take care of him and in return he promises to be your loyal companion.  He is cute as a button and is a happy boy who will bring joy to his forever home.  He is doing well in foster and loves his toddler foster human brother, he's great on a leash and NY city bustle doesn't phase him.  This snaggle-toothed sweetness will be a great addition to any family.  If that is your home please apply online to adopt Bear1 (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
