Dany (TX) is a female Boxer mix rescued from a shelter in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Dany is 5 years old at the time of intake in Jan 2023. She is good with both people and dogs and cats. Dany has only known a life of suffering, starved to near death by her owners then dumped in a crowded shelter. Even though she suffered horrific abuse and neglect she remains super sweet and loving. She loves everyone she meets both canine and human. Dany is doing amazing at her foster home, she is learning how to be a dog and play. She also finally knows what love and tenderness is and she's eating it all up. She loves long walks (even in the rain) lounging in the sun, playing with any friends she can find or just chilling! She loves her crate. And loves to snuggle (she's really a lap dog at heart). She is potty trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, is dog (big and little) and cat friendly (basically ignores them unless they are in her path and then she avoids them) She can not wait to meet her new family and enjoy love, cuddles and playtime for the rest of her life. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption
