Cupid (TX) is a male Shepherd/Lab mix rescued in Texas.  He is estimated to be 3 years old at the time of intake Feb 2023. Cupid is very friendly with people and other dogs and cats. He is overall a great family pet. This boy was found running in the streets in emaciated condition. Although life hasn't been easy so far for him he still remains as sweet and loving as can be.  Cupid is hoping that his arrow hits a perfect family who can love him and make sure he is always taken care of.  He's been living on the street fending for himself too long and it's time for someone to take care of him. He has the sweetest most trusting heart and gentle temperament.  All he wants to do is be loved by his people and hear he's a good boy.  And he definitely is.  He is a dream dog, house trained, great on a leash and with kids.  He knows house etiquette. No shoe chewing or jumping on the couch. No aggression towards cats and super smart. He knows sit command! He matches your energy. If you feel like laying around all day he’ll lay around with you. If you want to run a marathon he’ll glide along next to you.
