Tate (GA) is a male Great Dane mix rescued in Georgia. Our veterinary partner estimates that Tate is 3 years old at the time of intake in February 2023. Tate is good with people and other dogs. This gentle giant showed up at someone's home looking for love, and after a few weeks and no owner appeared, Tate was taken to the local shelter to maximize the chance of his owner finding him. But no one came to claim Tate, so we claimed him as a rescue pup! Tate is a very good boy, he is dog friendly, and he knows some commands. He is great on a leash, is crate trained and doesn't jump. Tate also loves to ride in the car! Tate is a bit underweight at 90 lbs, and we are slowly working on getting Tate up to his healthy weight. If you are looking for a big boy with lots of love to give, Tate is your boy! Please apply online to adopt Tate (GA) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
