Leia (GA) is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix rescued in Georgia. Our veterinary partner estimates that Leia is 6 years old at the time of intake in February 2023. Leia is good with people and other dogs.  This beautiful girl with the soulful eyes came into rescue toting her newborn puppies.  Leia has likely lived her life as a puppy machine just cranking out litter after litter. At 6 years old, we will see to it that Leia has had her last litter and from now on, Leia will enjoy her life as the focus of her forever family's love.  Leia loves her toys and playing fetch. She is housetrained, crate trained and knows sit, ball and drop it commands and is learning paw and stay commands.
