Lily (GA) is a spayed female Labrador Retriever mix rescued in Georgia. Our veterinary partner estimates that Lily is 4 years old at the time of intake in March 2023. Lily is good with people and other dogs. This beautiful girl was on the kill list at a shelter and had two days to find someone to save her.  Fortunately, we found her, scooped her up and brought her to our veterinary partner for evaluation. Lily has a head tilt and some vision issues which our veterinary partner believes is a result of some type of past trauma to her head. Lily absolutely craves and adores human affection. She likes to wander, so her forever home must be set up to properly contain her. Lily has been fine with dogs in her space but she doesn't really acknowledge others around her other than humans so she hasn't been cat or dog tested. We suggest that Lily will do best in a rural or suburban adult household.   Lily has incredibly soft fur and she loves to be petted! RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
