Sandy (TX) is a female Labrador mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Sandy is 4 yrs old at the time of intake in April 2023. Sandy is good with people and other dogs and cats. Beautiful, sweet Sandy fending for herself on the streets with a prolapse and clearly in pain. We don't know Sandy's past but we do know that she is getting all the care she needs and ready to find a forever home. Sandy is so sweet and would love to find a family of her own, a home where she can play and be a silly dog. And most importantly with a family who loves her and will promise to take care of her. Here is what her foster says about her "S
he walks very nicely on a leash. She loves going for walks! She loves sniffing around, enjoying the sunshine. She is the best cuddler. She loves sitting on the couch with you asking for belly rubs. When I take her places she loves being pet. Everyone says she is a sweetheart! she loves her stuffy toys and likes playing fetch with them and chewing them. She can be silly. She jumps up and down when I come home from work and does little zoomies and grabs a toy. She likes to know you are going to protect her and love her. Her past was most likely not a good one so we have to make sure her future is the best! Seriously-she is a low maintenance girl who will show you unconditional love."
