Frannie (AL) is a female Labrador Retriever mix whom was estimated by our veterinary partner at time of intake in may 2023 to be 9 months old. Frannie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and has been microchipped. She does have a preference towards dogs more her size as she can be somewhat of a bully over treats and food. Best fit scenario would be one where meal times and treats are managed and fed separate and if other dogs, more her size or larger. Frannie has been in foster but it is time for her to find her forever home. When at our southern veterinary partner, they said that Frannie does well on a leash, she is a wiggle worm. Her foster tells us this is soooo true! In fact, she loves to cuddle with her human so much that ANY sleeping position is just fine, whether she drapes herself across you like a rag doll, or lays with her head in her lap, it is one of her favorite activities! She is ok in a crate but does much better when not. She is almost fully potty trained and has made HUGE strides with being less shy. She is young and still learning manners and may jump up on you when greeting you. She just needs a family to help her continue to shine. Shes a beautiful little girl, and its HER turn! If you would like Frannie(AL) to be your lifelong companion, please apply online to adopt Frannie (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
