Rhetta (AL) is a female possibly Hound blend whom our veterinary partner estimated to be 8 weeks old at the time of intake in June 2023. Rhetta is good with people of all ages and other dogs, up to date on vaccines (age appropriate), has been spayed and is microchipped. At this young age, we imagine she is fine with cats as well. Life was not good to Rhetta and her siblings, having been through more than many dogs do in a lifetime. When Rhetta  was brought into our rescue, she was suffering from a painful, itchy skin infection, fleas, worms, intestinal parasites, bugs hovering around hier little body and she was dehydrated. She has since been treated, recieving all the care she needs to live life healthy, happy, and with a loving family. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
