Carolina (GA) is a female Black Labrador Retriever mix rescued in Georgia. Our veterinary partner estimates that Carolina is 6 months old at the time of intake in July 2023. Carolina is good with people and other dogs. Carolina was found as a stray suffering from a broken leg and an incredibly devastating facial injury. We don't know what happened to Carolina, but we do know that it's in the past and Carolina's future will be filled with nothing but love and happiness. Carolina is with our veterinary partner where she has had surgery to repair her leg and the first surgery required to repair her facial injuries. We would like to have Carolina's forever home waiting for her when she has completed treatment. It's amazing how sweet and friendly Carolina is even with the incredible pain she is experiencing. Stay tuned for Carolina's "after" photos! If you can give Carolina the fantastic home she deserves and you are willing to wait for Carolina, please apply online to adopt Carolina (GA) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.
RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
