Ox (TX) is a male Terrier mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Ox is 6 years old at the time of intake in June 2023.  Ox is good with people and other dogs.  This sweet boy found himself in a rural shelter with a leg injury.  Lucky for him we heard about his situation and grabbed him and brought him to the vet for the medical care he needed.  We could not save his leg but he's a happy tripod. He is now on the road to recovery and we are finding he is the sweetest boy.  Since Ox is a little older and has seen some of the world he wanted us to make sure we let you know what he is looking for in a home.  It's really not much, outside of the basics, food and water he would love a comfy bed of his own, a family who adores him and in return he will love you unconditionally.  That sounds like a great deal to us.  If you agree please apply online to adopt Ox (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
