Gus (TN) is a male Pit Bull Terrier blend who was estimated by our veterinary partner as 5 months old at the time of intake in September 2023. Gus is good with people and other dogs, had been neutered, is up to date on vaccines (age appropriate) and great with other people and other dogs. We suspect that the only good day Gus (TN) has had in his entire life thus far was the day we picked him up and brought him into our rescue. Not only was he suffering with mange, but he had a rectal prolapse which required surgical repair. Gus’ oozing eyes told his sad, sad story. But the expert veterinary care he received has set him on the road to recovery and that road will lead Gus to a happy life. This gorgeous brindle guy is ready to go and healed! He is super sweet and adorable, and we are working hard to see that sad face turn into a happy one.
