Effie (AL) is a female beagle mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Effie is 6 weeks old at the time of intake in September 2023. Effie is good with people of all ages and other dogs. This little cutie pie was surrendered by her owner so that she could go on to live a terrific life, and that’s exactly what we promised this baby.  Effie  loves being held like a baby. She is exploring toys, learning how much fun they are, and loves to romp around and be chased in the yard. Effie also LOVES people and children…and just wants to be with you. She is great with her two foster doggy siblings but seems mostly to ignore them in favor of human affection. Effie  is a sweet, adorable, puppy who will play till she drops down for a nap, and then get up and play again. And in between, there will be lots of snuggles and cuddles in the lap of her forever person. Effie is crate trained and sleeps through the night.
