Maggie Mae (SC) is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix rescued in South Carolina. Our veterinary partner estimates that Maggie Mae is 3 years old at the time of intake in September 2023. Maggie Mae is good with people, other dogs and even cats. This beautiful girl was a barely walking skeleton when we brought her into rescue from a shelter. She is extremely emancipated and is at our veterinary partner receiving lifesaving care. We don’t know how Maggie Mae got into this condition, but what we do know is that her life turned around the day we found her. Maggie is so incredibly sweet and friendly, and she's just happy to be fed and loved. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
