Lacey (GA) is estimated by our veterinarian to be 2 years old at the time of rescue the beginning of Oct 2023. She is good with people and other dogs, up to date on vaccines, and will be microchipped and spayed prior to making the trip north from our veterinary partner and prior to placement in her forever home. Lacey (GA) was brought into a shelter along with her litter of puppies. But she was in such an emaciated condition that her body could not produce food for her pups. The pups are being taken care of now as is Lacey. Lacey will slowly put on weight until she reaches her desired weight at about 40 lbs. She is a sweet, playful, happy girl who will make a fantastic 4-legged companion. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
