Toffee (AL) is a male Pit Bull Terrier mix whose age is estimated to be 2-3 weeks old at the time of intake in early December 2023.   Toffee is up to date on core vaccines (age-appropriate). He is also microchipped and will be neutered prior to placement in his forever home unless there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Toffee's brief life came close to ending when a monster tried to drown Toffee in a lake. Fortunately, a good samaritan intervened and not only was Toffee saved, but he was guaranteed a fantastic life when we took him into our rescue. Toffee has the most adorable face and he's funny, sweet and playful. He is  a little on the timid side, but is starting to play with his bigger canine foster siblings. His top priorities are to be cuddled, held, and if there is spare room in your sweatshirt …. he’s there! This little dude loves people, and is eager to be not just by your side, but in your arms.
