Dawson (GA) is a male Pug mix estimated to be 2 years old at the time of intake in January 2024. Dawson is up to date on core vaccines and is microchipped. He will be neutered before placement in his forever home unless there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Dawson is  totally, ridiculously adorable, even with ears that are perhaps too small for his head! He adores people, including kids. Dawson is super food motivated, and is p layful but not super high energy. He do es fine with dogs (but this little dude really wants his people). He has some foster cat siblings, and he has shown to be cat-curious, but not aggressive. Dawson sleeps through the night in his crate and does not seem to be a chewer. He literally becomes boneless when you give him belly rubs! Dawson is easily corrected and redirected when being naughty, such as engaging in garbage diving. Some Dawson quirks: he seems to dislike the sound of a piano and will howl to drown out the sound! Some hilarious sounds come of this guy's little body. And he thinks he's a retriever.
