Nimby (TX) is thought to be a male chow chow mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Nimby is 2 yrs old at the time of intake in December 2023. Nimby’s foster family reports that is he is sweet and gentle. ​ Fluffy, gentle Nimby is looking for his forever home. About 2 years old and 30 lbs. Loves to play with stuffies (and remove the squeaker if he can), chase balls, and nap on beds, sofas, and anything soft.  He loves carrying his stuffed animals everywhere, chasing a ball, and snuggling up close. Despite being attacked by dogs, which led to the amputation of his ear and some nasty scars, he wants nothing more than to hang out with a pack of friends. Working hard on housebreaking (and mostly there), walks well on a leash, and learning a few basic commands like “sit” and “paw”.  Loves all people big and small. He would do best in a quiet, not high-energy, home.
