Lucy (NY) is a female Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer (maybe?) mix estimated to be 8 months old at the time of intake in March 2024. Lucy is up to date on core vaccines, is microchipped and will be spayed prior to joining her forever home unless there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time).  Lucy is good with people and other dogs. Lucy was found in near-death condition in a park in NYC. She was emaciated and starving to death. Although we didn't think Lucy would make it, we immediately rushed her to our veterinary partner for lifesaving treatment. She is pulling through and getting stronger every day. It's time for Lucy to leave the first 8 months of her cruel life behind and for us to find her the best home where she will live the happy, loving life she should have been living.
