Buttercup (TX) is a female Poodle rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Buttercup is 16 years old at the time of intake in March 2024.  Buttercup's foster mommy reports this little old lady loves to walk! She may need assistance to navigate a curb or around a bush but she is a straight easy walker. She loves to sniff, explore, and feel the sun on her face. Really!! Buttercup finds the sun and is known to sit facing it!! She’s a super strong and feisty little lamb! Yes, that’s what they call her, she looks and walks like a baby lamb! She’s only 8 lbs! Other than eye drops, she’s a simple old gal who loves to eat, drink water, walk, and be held! She doesn’t play with toys but she’s still very attentive and likes to be in the middle of the action. Buttercup will be a great companion and could have a couple more years left.
