Buffy (AL) is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix estimated to be a year old at the time of intake in March 2024. Buffy is up to date on core vaccines and is microchipped. She will be spayed prior to joining her forever home  unless there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time).  Buffy is good with people and other dogs. This gentle sweetheart was attacked by other dogs and then sat suffering with her severe injuries untreated. She was finally brought to a shelter where her front leg was amputated. She is emaciated and has suffered horrific wounds to her body. Our veterinary partners are trying desperately to save her hind leg. This beautiful girl deserves to have a loving forever family in whose arms Buffy can jump as soon as she is healthy enough to start her life over.
