Violet (AL) is a female mixed breed pup estimated to be 10 weeks old at the time of intake in late March 2024. Violet is up to date on core vaccines (age appropriate) and is microchipped. She will be spayed prior to placement in her forever home  unless there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time).  Violet is good with people of all ages and other dogs. Violet was found by a mail carrier in the road after suffering some type of head trauma which caused a traumatic injury to her right eye and an injury to her tail. We immediately brought Violet into rescue and rushed her to our veterinary partner where part of Violet's tail and her eye were removed and along with it, the incredible pain she was experiencing. Violet is so cute that she looks like a stuffie! She is also so sweet and friendly.
