Gatsby (GA) is a male Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer mix estimated to be 7 months old at the time of intake in December 2024. Gatsby is up to date on core vaccinations (age-appropriate) and is microchipped. He will be neutered prior to joining his forever home unless there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDRNYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Gatsby is good with people of all ages and other dogs. We found Gatsby in horrific condition in a shelter. He was totally emaciated, and we suspect he had spent his entire life locked in a filthy crate. His legs were bent, his feet were urine and feces stained and his body was hunched up. But our veterinary partner has fixed Gatsby up, and you should see him now! His abusive life is in the rear view mirror, and Gatsby is ready to start his new life of love and happiness in a forever home! Gatsby is shy and sweet and likes to give kisses. He’s all baby, loves everybody, and just wants to be where you are.
