Simone (GA) is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix estimated to be 6 weeks old at the time of intake in early February 2025. Simone is up to date on core vaccinations and is microchipped. She will be spayed prior to joining her forever home unless there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Simone is good with people of all ages and other dogs. We rescued this sweet girl in the nick of time as she was scheduled to be euthanized because she has ringworm. Simone's owner moved out of an apartment and just left this little puppy alone in the apartment to starve to death. Fortunately someone heard Simone's cries and got her to a shelter.  Simone is now being treated for the ringworm. Simone is adorable with the cutest speckled nose.
