Herman (GA) is a male Pit Bull Terrier mix estimated to be 13 years old at the time of intake in February 2025. Herman is up to date on core vaccinations and is microchipped. He will be neutered prior to joining his forever home unless there is a medical reason why it has not been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Herman is good with people and other dogs. This spunky old man was the subject of a cruelty case. When we rescued Herman, he bore the scars of a long life of neglect, abuse and cruelty. He was severely emaciated, he had something going on with this eyes, and he had an angry, painful hole in his leg. Our veterinary partner will ensure that Herman safely builds up to a healthy weight, and will assess his eye issues and figure out what's going on with his leg. Herman will receive all the medical treatment he requires and then he will be ready to move into the fantastic, loving, forever home that he should have had his entire life.
