Skye (AL) is a spayed female Dachshund mix who was estimated by our veterinary partner to be 1 year old at the time of intake in May 2025.. Skye is good with people and other dogs.

Skye was abandoned pregnant and alone.  This extraordinary young mom safely gave birth to 9 pups and did an amazing job taking care of them. But now it's time for Skye to find a home of her own. Skye is being fostered in a busy home with other dogs and kids of all ages and is good with them all. She lives to play in the yard and sleep in a sunny spot. She is snuggly, playful and up for whatever her humans are doing. Skye has great manners in the house. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate core vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
