We just rescued Nan, a 1 year old 30 pound sweetheart of a gal from SC.  This poor dog had endured the most horrible trauma (not likely at one time) where she suffered 2 badly broken legs, 1 front and 1 back and had been shot w a pellet gun a minimum of 13 times!!!!  She'd also had a couple litters during her short life. All of this suffering was without pain medication and without seeing a vet!!! This poor tiny baby had to have suffered so!! She's so sweet & currently everyone's favorite at our vet's office. 

This is what Nan must endure now to have any quality of life:

1. orthopedic surgeon will attempt to remove scar tissue and repair back leg (she cannot walk without this surgery)

2. after Nan recovers from surgery #1 and can put weight on back leg, front leg will need to be amputated.

She will require months of rehabilitation!! 

Nan deserves the very best home ever!!
