Ben, 18-24 months old, and only 23 pounds. Neglected, demodex mange, puncture wounds that are infected, secondary skin infection due to non treated mange, terrified and shut down. Our hearts are broken for this boy. Who could turn from the intake photo of him hunched over? Not us. No way. Ben is a Rescue Dogs Rock NYC boy now. We don't know much about his personality yet, he is too shut down to know much. We are working on getting him to feel better, we are trying to bring hope and happiness to this poor boy who obviously has had little of each for a while now.
