Heidi is 5 years old and 20 pounds. She comes to rescue from a shelter in Georgia, and had a large, open wound on her back with no skin. She is receiving laser treatments daily to help this to heal, and other treatment as necessary. Heidi is great with people of all ages and with other dogs. Our veterinary partner states that she is a real sweetheart and a very loving girl. Heidi is up to date on shots and has been spayed. It will be a little while before she is ready to join a forever family as she undergoes continued treatment for the wound on her back, but we would love to get the process started and have a family waiting for her when she is ready.
