Oakley (TX) is a male Shepherd mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Oakley is 1.5 years old at the time of intake in October 2020. Oakley is good with people of all ages and other dogs.  The beautiful boy was hit by a car and left to die on the side of the road.  But it wasn't Oakley's day to die, so he somehow summoned all of the strength he had left and made his way into someone's yard. Fortunately for Oakley, that someone was kind and compassionate and arranged for us to save Oakley.  He is now at our veterinary partner receiving the medical care he requires for an open wound to the bone, various cuts and scrapes and possibly a fractured leg.  We have committed to save Oakley's life and that goes beyond fixing him up medically. We need to find Oakley a fantastic forever home where he will be safe and secure and loved forever as a member of his forever family.
