Greta (AL) is a spayed female Dachshund/Beagle mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Greta is a year old at the time of intake in December 2021.  Greta is good with people, other dogs and even cats.  We brought Greta into rescue toting her two very young puppies after they had been surrendered to a kill shelter by their owner.  Greta's puppies are now ready to head out on their own paths to happiness, and now it's Greta's turn!  Greta is crate trained and housetrained, and she loves to play fetch.  She a sweet, spunky, playful, happy little pup who can't wait to find her happy ever after with her forever family.  Greta would love a home with kids and a young doggy sibling.  If you can love Greta and give her the fantastic home she deserves, please apply online to adopt Greta (GA) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.    RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
