Scout (AL) was estimated by our veterinary partner to be 8 weeks old at the time of intake in September 2023. He is good with people and other dogs, has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines (age appropriate) and has been microchipped. We believe this fella is possibly a lab shepherd or hound blend. We KNOW, however, that he IS ridiculously cute! Scout  (AL) His foster reports that he loves to play, zoom around and plop down in your lap for a quick nap. He is a snuggler and lets you know it!  Here is what foster says about him:  " Scout can be a little shy but warms up quickly and LOVES to snuggle. He’s already got the hang of walking on a leash and loves to explore with his human. Scout is very food motivated and learns quickly. He loves to play fetch and zoom around and is happiest when he gets to be close to his human As a puppy, Scout will need to continue his training to become fully housetrained, which is normal for all pups. He will chew at times and counter surf if given the opportunity. He's an active boy who is just really enjoying life and being alive!"

Apply to adopt at rescuedogsrocknyc.org Scouts' adoption fee is $575. If you would like Scout to grow up as a member of your family, please apply online to adopt Scout (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.

RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
